The Neptune (N.J.) American Legion Family of Post 346 took part in decorating the graves of veterans in six local cemeteries. Members of the Post color guard, SAL and Auxiliary, as well as volunteers from the ROTC of Neptune High School, placed over 1,500 flags in six area cemeteries. A week later, the color guard fired rifle volleys over 10 cemeteries, an annual event.

On June 14, Flag Day, Post 346 hosted a flag retirement ceremony.
