Sgt. Gene Lamie (Bubba) was a born and raised Southern man. He loved God, country and family. He gave his life for his country on 07 06 07 when he was killed in action by an IED in Iraq. Gene is honored by his parents, wife, son and daughter.
Alan Jackson said it best in a song: "God has a place up in heaven for a small-town Southern man."
