Dorothy McCormick is a high school junior from Sussex County, Delaware. She uses her talents in both speech and music to express her passion for her country and pride in our veterans and active military members.
She has been Delaware’s American Legion Oratorical winner in 2019 and 2020, sponsored by Nanticoke Post 6.
In 2019 the national organization Constituting America asked her to represent them as a Constitutional Ambassador and chose a song she wrote and recorded as their Best High School Song.
The song is entitled “Worth Fighting For” and is dedicated to her great-uncle, who lost his life in Vietnam.
