On Memorial Day our executive board did a Post Everlasting ceremony honoring our fallen heroes. Post 49 held the ceremony and invited other local posts. Posts that attended to honor their members were Post 13, Post 72 and Post 99. The ceremony was held outdoors in our parking lot. We streamed it via Facebook Live and on Zoom. We did not invite our members or the public to attend, but members showed up to watch the ceremony and we enforced social distancing. We provided a free lunch to go to all American Legion members.
