During the annual ceremony of Criswell-Robinson Post 71 in Cabot, Ark., the post added to its ceremony the Candles Of Honor Ceremony. This was done prior to the normal activities of the post, in which they ring the bell and announce each veteran who was KIA in the County Of Lonoke in Arkansas. After that, the post shows a powerful video of what Memorial Day is all about.
In attendance this year was a state senator for the Cabot area, the mayor of Cabot, a city council member for Cabot, the county judge for Lonoke County and the county veterans service officer for Lonoke County. It was also decided that the Candles of Honor shall be a regular part of our annual ceremony every year.
