Tavares Post 76 placed flags at the headstones of military veterans on Saturday, May 23, for Memorial Day weekend. This is a yearly tradition for Post 76. We adhered to the COVID-19 rules for social distancing, wearing of masks if necessary and keeping the participants to less than 10 people. We also had a bagpipe player who played traditional patriotic music while we placed the flags.
