Coming from a Army family - my dad served 22 years, my older brother and younger brother and myself all served for a total of 56 years of service to our country - I have always flown an American flag in front of my house, always on a pole mounted to the side of the house. I have been wanting a "real" flagpole for a long time, and last month I put up a 20-foot telescoping flagpole. I'm so proud of it.
