The American Legion Riders of Post 17 of DuBois, Pa., will make its annual donation to the Children's Miracle Network this coming June. Each year for the past several years our Riders chapter has donated over $5,000 each year to the CMN and have been televised on the area's network.
"We have donated, over the past years, over $30,000 to the CMN, giving our children the opportunity to live a longer and better life," said Chapter President Jeff Sedor. When the children come up to you, thank you for your service and give you a hug, words can not explain except for tears in our eyes.
We will donate another $5,500 this year and show through the media that the American Legion Riders and The American Legion is a community of veterans who care about the communities each American Legion post is located in.
