The 100-mile mark.

Just finished today!

Harrison, OH

Today was the day. I began walking a beautiful 7.8-mile loop at Miami Whitewater Forest near Harrison, Ohio. Beginning on Aug. 4, I decided to complete the loop once a day for as long as it took to reach 100, which turned out to be 13 loops (2.5 hours per loop). Along the way, I mixed in some running miles and rest days (as the blisters started to form!). I'm pleased to report that I reached the 100-mile mark this afternoon. After investing this much time and energy over the last three weeks, I am likely to continue this lifelong 'sport.' Thank you for promoting this others-centered campaign that also benefited my body, mind and spirit in the great outdoors.
