American Legionnaires from Paul E. Finn Post 37, South Korea, and Lewis L. Millett Post 38, South Korea, attended and participated in the Memorial Day commemorations/U.S. servicemember grave flag-marking at the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Busan, South Korea. The Memorial Day ceremony was held by the USA Memorial Monument in the cemetery. This annual event honored U.S. servicemen who fought in the Korean War, resting in peace in the United Nations Memorial Cemetery, and is hosted by Post 37. During the Korean War from 25 June 1950 to 27 July 1953, the United States suffered 33,686 battle deaths along with 2,830 non-battle deaths. Over 4,700 American are still missing in this war.
