“A blessed Sunday morning to all!” declared Chuck Conners, commander of Allen "Pop" Reeves American Legion Post 123. On that Sunday morning - Dec. 4, 2022 - was the December feeding and Christmas party Post 123 sponsored. The post monthly sponsors a meal for the needy in Brgy Cutud, Angeles City called the "Children for a Better Life" feeding program. This month they were able to raise P38K in donations and to feed over 500 children and gave all the children all new slippers. Santa "John Murphy" Claus was even able to arrive from the North Pole to hand out gifts to the children. Conners gave thanks to all the post members and other supporters for their donation for this great cause. This event made a lot of children very happy today.
