Carolyn Wiley Fraiser passed away on Dec. 8, 2022, at 73, during her term as Department of Washington president. A memorial ceremony was held on July 19, 2023. during the Auxiliary's department convention in Wenatchee. She was active in the Auxiliary for many years and held many different officer positions as well as positions in other veterans organizations. She had a passion to help with child welfare organizations, where she donated lots of time and hard work.
Carolyn's final resting place is at Riverside Cemetery on Government Way in Spokane; her plot is 76 feet away from the historic American Legion Cenotaph. She is buried among more than 300 veterans and family members who share this special area of the cemetery.
