A Vietnam veteran from Missouri was buried today at his family plot in Valhalla, N.Y. American Legion Post 322 (Webb City, Mo.) called and asked for our help. We said yes! The U.S. Air Force provided taps and flag-folding with presentation while our Post 1038 fired the rifle salute, provided a color guard and prayers for this veteran now home at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, near our post home. American Legion Post 1038, Auxiliary Unit 1038, and Sons of The American Legion Squadron 1038 all participated. Welcome home, Vietnam veteran!
