Donations for Children's Hospital

Mechanicsville, VA

The American Legion and The American Legion Auxiliary of Post 175 in Mechanicsville, Virginia donated 150 toys to Children's Hospital in Richmond for the Christmas holiday.

After participating in the district-wide "Toys for Tots" program, which collected 1,025 toys for the program, the Post continued collecting toys for the hospitalized children.

The Unit 175 President and District 13 Commander dropped off the toys at Children's Hospital. The children in the cancer and burn wards were the recipients of the generous donations from the community.
