American Legion Portsmouth Post 18 of the Department of Rhode Island presents scholarships annually to graduating seniors from the local high school. This year the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions prevented the in-person awards night. Our post fulfilled our mission by participating in the cyber awards program. We recognize the necessity to utilize modern communication methods to maintain our "boots on the ground" approach to meet the new challenges faced by our beloved organization.
