Virtual Veterans Day ceremony hosted by American Legion Braxton-Perkins Post 25 in Newport News, Va.

On Nov. 11, 2020, the members of American Legion Braxton-Perkins Post 25 hosted a virtual Veterans Day program

The event that took place at The Victory Arch in downtown Newport News, Va., was shown on Facebook Live. Post 25 Commander Paul Bartz, various post officers, post members, and some attendees witnessed the event in person.

The modified annual program provided words honoring all prior servicemembers by Bartz, the Pledge of Allegiance by 1st Vice Commander Ken Crowley, the invocation and closing prayer by Immediate Past Post Commander (IPPC) Sean Devlin, Armed Forces Medley, and live music from the Southeastern Virginia Firefighters Pipe and Drums with Sgt.-At-Arms Rob Simmons.
