Post 105, Redwood City, holds COVID-19 testing

On Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, free COVID-19 testing was provided at American Legion Post 105 in Redwood City for veterans, their families and the citizens of San Mateo County. The event was co-sponsored by the San Mateo County Veterans Service Office and Post 105.

Volunteers that morning were: American Legion Post 105, Auxilary Units 105 and Unit 585, Sons Squadron 105, Riders Chapter 105 and the San Mateo County Veterans Service Office. All made sure everyone was registered to receive their results and to safely receive their test.

There were 97 people tested, 68 veterans with family members and 29 members of the community. COVID-19 testing was led by San Mateo County Supervisor Warren Slocum and members of the San Mateo County Veterans Commission with many members of the American Legion Post 105 Family (Veterans/Auxiliary/Sons/Riders).
