On Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, Fountain Hills American Legion Post 58 recognized 22 veterans of the Iraqi War. Joining in the celebration and presenting the certificates and American Legion Valor Medals were Post 58 Commander John Weedo and Adjutant General of Arizona Maj. Gen. Kerry Muehlenbeck. Only four were able to make the ceremony, but all will receive their awards.
