I am an active member with Post 28 in Key West, Fla., and have been working on this project in a variety of ways. I feel that it would be a great benefit for our various posts around the country, depending on their particular needs. We all need to save money and help the environment, which is both important and patriotic.

I just made contact with a friend of mine (CJ) originally from Wilmington, N.C., whom I have not spoken to for a couple of years now. He has decided to move to the southern part of Costa Rica, which he states is a great place to live. In the meantime, his longtime friend (DJ) had mentioned his project GO SOLAR. This subject has piqued my interest due to the constant bombardment of ads with reference to both the environment and how we can all help out with our mother earth. I have always been of the opinion that solar energy, especially for persons that live in the Sunshine State [Florida], could benefit from this manmade resource.
