Congresswoman congratulates first Gulf War-era district commander in Missouri's 10th District

Congresswoman Ann Wagner, who represents Missouri's 2nd Congressional District, has always been a huge supporter of our nation's veterans. Always ready to help those who have served and those who continue to serve, Wagner has shown commitment to our men and women in uniform. While in office, Wagner has routinely attended pro-military and veteran-related functions in her district and has always shown her appreciation firsthand. Above, Wagner took the time to congratulate Edward Ucinski III, who is the newest American Legion district commander for Missouri's 10th District, which is the Legion district within her elected congressional district. Wagner was especially supportive since Ucinski is the first member to hold that position who is registered from the Gulf War-era period of service. She was very enthusiastic, encouraging and unwavering in her support for The American Legion. She reaffirmed her commitment to those who continue to support the veteran community. The torch has been passed from one generation to the next.

Disclaimer: While The American Legion has explicit policies in place which expressly prohibit members from actively campaigning for any type of political candidate under the guise of the Legion, we are permitted to publicly thank our elected officials who have supported our cause and organization.
