American Legion Riders of Post 1340 join community in honoring Oklahoma's fallen veterans

Oklahoma City, OK

American Legion Riders of Post 1340 joined with other Oklahoma motorcycle riders and members of the community on Memorial Day 2019 to honor Oklahoma's fallen heroes. The riders met at Post 73 in the morning and departed in a parade to the Oklahoma Veterans Memorial at the State Capitol. There, a number of active-duty personnel, veterans and other members of the community gathered together in fellowship and solidarity as speakers commemorated the day and the names of Oklahoma's fallen veterans were read aloud. Bagpipes were played, wreaths were laid, and all those gathered together made it clear that our heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice will not be forgotten.
