On Monday, Aug. 28, 2023, members of the Cape Fear Fella’s performed a pinning for a Navy veteran at the Wilmington Care Center. The veteran was presented with a Veterans Service Flag pin, certificates of thanks and an American flag signed by the veterans presenting the pin. His family members were present and were very grateful for the honor given to their veteran. In the attached photo are Rick Rogers, Mike Homby, Bill Day, Sherman Thompson and Marv Zumwalt

John E, Jacobs American Legion Post 68 and other local veterans volunteer to remember and honor our local veterans. The pin and certificates are presented to the veteran to thank them and to honor their service in the armed services of the United States.
