Dear All:
As a grandson of the mayor of a small village where Captain Lloyd said the famous sentence, "Retreat hell! We just got here," I would be so honoured to welcome his family in France (especially for the 100-year anniversary of the end of WWI).
My granddad was in contact with someone (his family or other,) but I don't find any address/contact since he died.
Thank you for your help and for le souvenir of the heroes who save our country with their life .

En tant que petit fils du maire du village où le Capitaine Llyod dit la célèbre phrase "Retreat hell we just got here", je serai très honoré de recevoir sa famille (spécialement pour l'anniversaire du centenaire de la fin de la première guerre mondiale)
Mon grand père était en contact avec sa famille ou un soldat de son régiment, mais je n'ai pas retrouvé de traces de cette correspondance.
Merci beaucoup pour votre aide, et pour faire vivre la mémoire de ces héros qui ont sauvé notre pays au prix de leurs vies.
