RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME

Post 18 - Portsmouth, RI

On Friday, 14 MAY 2010, my husband and I (both Legionnaires) happened to be at Arlington National Cemetery when the Clinton Township Honor Guard was laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns. The wreath was provided by American Legion Police & Firefighters Post 161 of Michigan. We were very proud to be present for the ceremony. The Honor Guard and many other police units were in Washington, DC that week celebrating National Police Week.
