Post 186 Greenville, Georgia, partners with a local quilting group who regularly meet at the Post to create quilts for our community. Most recently, "Stitchin' Chicks" created 37 small lap quilts that were sent to Gentiva Hospice, West Hill Senior Convalescent Center. Also, 22 NICU blankets were sent to Wellstar in LaGrange, Georgia. The "Stitchin' Chicks" group donated their time and energies to create these quilts for our community. The total estimated cost of these quilts is $2,575.00. Thank you, "Stitchin' Chicks" for your commitment to serving our veterans and community!
