Shannon Riley, graduate of the Smyrna, Delaware School District was awarded the ALA Unit 14 $1000.00 scholarship. Shannon will be attending Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina majoring in Business and Accounting. Shannon was joined by her family The Reverend Dr. John and Mrs. Kimberly Riley, sister Erin and brother Dylan for the presentation ceremony. The ALA Unit 14 awards a $1,000.00 scholarship every year to a deserving student from the Smyrna School District who has a family member that has been or is serving in the U.S. military or the Delaware National Guard.
