Although revitalized only 1 short year ago, Shirley-Holloway Post 131 is already reaching out to at risk veterans. Their mission is to seek out all at risk veterans - especially those who are homeless - and introduce them to the Post Veteran Service Officer who in turn gets them medical care. All while introducing the Veterans to the American Legion.

It's not a hand out - it's a hand up!
