On behalf of our American Legion Post 278 in Stevensville Md., we cordially invite all of you who may be in the local area the weekend of April 16-18, 2010 to join us as we host our Wounded Warrior Weekend. We have invited five wounded soliders/airmen/Marine/seaman/coastie who are currently going thru rehabilitation periods after being injured in either Iraq or Afghanastan. Many of the brave heroes have suffered the loss of a limb and more. This is our way of showing them up close and personal that we do love them, we do honor them and we thank them for their "heroic" service to our great country! This is our second annual event. Last year we raised over $11,000 for the Amputee Center at Walter Reed, and this year I know we can do more!!
