American Legion Riders Escort "Ride to Recovery"

Florida Central Area - Tampa, FL

Saturday, Feb 2, 2013: Several Central Area American Legion Riders came out to escort the "Tampa Honor Ride, Ride to Recovery". This bicycle ride includes and supports an amazing group of men and women recovering from war injuries. The ride was broken into 3 separate routes, the longest being 68 miles! Some of the modified bikes stuck to the short route of 20 miles, but even that is an amazing feat! The Legion Riders were proud to provide motorcycle escort to these fine warriors. Pictured left to right: 1) Bicyclists lining up to start the ride; 2) Jose Romeu (Post 138 Port Tampa City), Randal McNabb (Post 273 Madeira Beach), Jaebird Planchard (Post 252 Dunedin), Shelli Romeu (Post 138); 3) Randall, Jose, Shelli, Bob Ashe (Post 125 Gulfport); Justin Gardner (it was his 24th Birthday also!) and Jose.
