American Legion Post 67 (Rincon, Puerto Rico) prepares youth for lives of civic responsibility: “Americanism”

Rincon, Puerto Rico, OT

As American Legion members, we pledge ourselves to our Veterans, our Youth, a Strong National Defense, and Americanism. According to The American Legion's Americanism Manual, "It is not a word. It is a cause, a way of life – the best way of life ever known." From the beginning, the Legion recognized that if the organization were to "inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community, state and nation," it must invest in youth (American Legion Basic Training).

American Legion Post 67, Rincon, PR, presented a $1,000 check to the Isabela Marlins Little League Baseball team on March 5, 2023. This donation was made in support of the team’s competition in the World Baseball Foundation tournament taking place in Orlando from July 29-Aug. 3, 2023. The American Legion is proud to have sponsored the team and wishes them the best representing Puerto Rico.
