On March 29, the John J. Morris Post 62 in Peoria, Ariz. honored our Vietnam veterans. The band paused and the commander gave a heartfelt speech asking all Vietnam veterans to come to the front. They received a standing ovation. The commander went around shaking every veteran's hand. The Auxiliary president shook their hands, thanked them for their service, welcomed them home and presented roses to each veteran and/or spouse. There was not a dry eye in the building, and another standing ovation took place.
