Louis Dolce, a member of Balfour-Cole Post 64, Smithfield, R.I., recently celebrated his 98th birthday. Living in the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol, and having no local family, Lou was surprised when he received dozens of birthday cards from schoolchildren in Smithfield's Pleasant View School and St. Philip's School. The delivery of the cards was coordinated by Post 64.
