Enjoying Delaware, one walk at a time

The 100 Miles for Hope program gave me an excellent motivational activity to not only donate to a good cause but improve my fitness level and enjoy what's out there! I started with shorter walks, but eventually found trails and began mapping out distances and observing a lot more of what nature has to offer in my little state of Delaware. Sometimes it's just the little jump start I needed to feel a little better - even if it's just to watch some deer for a while or listen to a meadow full of birds. And you can take a friend or two with you! To anyone who hasn't signed up and given it a try ... why not?
