After two years of pandemic restrictions, Man o' War Post 8, Lexington, Ky., resumed its ROTC awards program. This is our way to promote national security and 100% Americanism, two of our Four Pillars. On April 12, 1st Vice Commander David Davis and 2nd Vice Commander Denise Brooks presented eight cadets with Military Excellence and Scholarship Excellence medals. Post 8 has a long relationship with University Of Kentucky Air Force ROTC Detachment 290. Each year, several cadets enlist for active duty.
