It has been 52 years ago that I went through my Navy training. I joined the Navy in 1964 and went to Great Lakes, Illinois. There I began my training, I did have some problems with my marching. I would get out of step and my Drill Instructor would kick me in the butt to make sure I would stay in step. I also had to go to the Drill Hall for getting five hits on my hard card. I finally made it through Boot Camp and graduated.
