I remember wet firing, and it was raining like hell, getting soaked while laying on the ground. I also remember getting up at 4:30 a.m., doing exercises, how wet it was in San Antonio and marching in the cold. When they sent us to Denver, I remember shoveling coal in the barracks heaters during the winter.
