The thing I remember most is running next to the air strip and wishing you were on one of those flight's.

My fondest memory was the night be for graduation. Staff Sergeant Case was talking to us in front of the duty hut, letting us know how proud of the Platoon he was. When he was done talking he got up and as he closed the door behind him he said, "Get out of my sight Marines!" As we started getting up to leave it finally hit us, "Staff Sergeant Case just called us Marines!" We all just kind of looked at one another asking did Staff Sergeant Case just call us "Marines?" But then coming from behind the duty hut door we heard the old Staff Sergeant Case bellow out, "Are you maggets still sitting in my area?"

My worst memory wood have to be rain every day at the firing range.
