1953-1957

In December of 1953 I was stationed at Sampson AF Base in Geneva, NY for basic training.

Before getting out of basic we had to swim in the base pool. Not being a swimmer, I was quite upset about having to do that.

The last day came and much to my surprise it was so cold that the pool was closed!

The next day we were on our way to Biloxi, Mississippi for Tech School. AMEN
