Gas chamber

In July 1969 I found myself at boot camp at Fort Gordon, Ga. Before leaving the gas chamber we had to state our Name, SS# and home address. That was with our mask off, then we both made the mistake of running out. They made us return.
While in Vietnam we were dropped into a Hot Land Zone and CS Gas.
After a 12-year break I joined the U.S. Navy. Yes, again another gas chamber.
As a Navy Corpsman I spent two months at Camp Lejeune, N.C., to become a Fleet Marine Force (FMF) Corpsman. Again i found myself going to the gas chamber! All I could say was "Enough already!"
