On January 5, 2024, John J. Morris Post 62 in Peoria, Arizona, welcomed National Vice Commander Randy Edwards for a dinner reception. Our Riders provided a motorcade for the two vans with National and Department leadership. Post 62 Commander Tom McClain presented a check to Vice Commander Edwards for $500 to support the Be the One program. Several dignitaries were in attendance from various levels in the state and from other posts. Post 62 provided free meals to all the dignitaries. The color guard was in full force to present and retrieve colors to open and close activities. Vice Commander Edwards gave a heartfelt, moving speech on Be the One and reaching out to provide assistance to veterans. Everyone had a wonderful evening celebrating the honor of hosting Vice Commander Edwards.
