Camp Drum, NY and AGENTS ORANGE & PURPLE

Ogdensburg , NY

In June of 1959, 15,300 pounds of undiluted Agents Orange and Purple, were sprayed over Camp Drum’s “Impact Area,“ near the Village of Antwerp, NY, in 15 flights over 8 days. All 15 flight paths were over Indian River, the Village of Antwerp's drinking water at the time.

Veterans who did their two weeks Annual Training at Camp Drum after July of 1959 might be eligible to apply for Agent Orange Compensation. I believe the Village of Antwerp, NY, has an argument for Agent Orange Compensation, their drinking water was contaminated/poisoned.

There is a 135 Page SECRET REPORT, dated 1962, authored by Dr James W. Brown. The June 1959 Spraying was recorded on pages 21-29 of the SECRET REPORT.

In December 1962, Dr. Brown was directed to go to a friendly country (Vietnam) and experiment with Agent Orange on the jungle vegetation and use Napalm, pages 135-136.
