AUSTIN, Texas – (June 16, 2022) – Robert “Bobby” Chesney, the incoming dean for the University of Texas’ School of Law, served as the keynote speaker during a ceremony held for Texas Boys State on the campus of the University of Texas. Approximately 900 young men from high schools throughout the state of Texas attended the weeklong program, where they became a part of the operation of their local, county and state government. At American Legion Boys State, participants are exposed to the rights and privileges, along with duties and responsibilities, of a franchised citizen.
