Everyone was dressed up and ready for their pictures, which were framed and delivered as the night went on.

John J. Morris Post 62 rings in the new year with decorations, food, music and dancing

Peoria, AZ

On December 31, 2023, the John J. Morris Post 62 celebrated New Year's Eve. Tickets for the event sold out in about 36 hours in early December for about 150 people. Everyone got a framed picture of themselves, and ladies got corsages. Then, the appetizers came out, followed by the meal. The local favorite band, "Reboot," kept everyone dancing through the last song. There was a cheesecake dessert and a champagne toast at the appropriate time. It was a culmination to a highly successful year at the Post with new outreach programs and expanding others. And now, on to new and even better events in 2024!

A great main course of steak, lobster, scallops and potatoes highlighted the eats!

"Reboot" kept everyone dancing the whole night long.

It was a full house on both sides of the dining hall.
