We held a remembrance ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022. at our J.W. Mather Jr. American Legion Post 163, Melbourne, Fla. Our local fire department in Melbourne brought their ladder truck to hoist the American flag and also brought the bell and did the ringing of the 4-5's. Our chief of police as well as members of the Melbourne City Council were on hand to pay tribute. Our post color guard performed the gun salute as well as taps.
