Senior housing for veterans in Saguache, Colo.

Saguache, CO

Valley to Valley Adult Day Care located in Salida, Colo., is building a senior facility in Saguache that will provide day care, assisted living, independent living and other resources for veterans who are eligible. Valley to Valley has recently received notice from VA that payment for qualified veterans to use the facility is approved. The veteran's primary care doctor would prescribe the needed care.

The facility is located on 10 acres just north of Saguache. There will be multiple buildings. One will be for independent living, one for assisted living, one for adult day care, etc. There is a helicopter pad for transporting serious conditions to hospitals in Colorado Springs when needed. The local is excellent for healing and recovery, and long-term care.

This expansion has been 10 years in planning and getting construction started. The first building is near completion and will be open soon. The Board of Directors is seeking donations to help speed up completion of the entire campus.
