On April 5, 2023, William D. Beatty, second vice commander/service officer of Col. Lewis L. Millet American Legion Post 38, South Korea, volunteered with Army Community Service in Camp Casey, Korea, promoting Gold Star Spouses Day. Each year on April 5, we recognize the service and sacrifice of a very special group within our community. Gold Star Spouses Day is a time for us to pay tribute to the husbands and wives of our fallen comrades. Family members share in the accomplishments and the burdens of military service.
