Post 12 Commander Tim Curran had Kendra S. Danzer, MSW, LCSW give a talk on suicide prevention at a special meeting on July 20, 1800-2000 hours. Kendra represented the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and is the suicide prevention community engagement and partnership coordinator. County commissioners, public and private officials, and anyone interested in the problem of veteran suicides were invited to attend. Kendra and her team answered many questions during her two-hour talk.
