This is regarding a member that has 72 continuous years in The American Legion. He served in the Navy in World War II. He has been a member of Post 24 in Waterford, Michigan, for about 25 years and has been a big asset to our Post. He is 96 years young and volunteers to help out at the Post and Memorial Day parades when he can. He is married to a great woman (Dorthy) and has a wonderful family of five kids. I just wanted to credit this man for his service and commitment to The American Legion. The picture is from the dinner for him in his honor. This was taken last November.
