American Legion Fellowship Post 951 and the Girl Scouts joined up to support the homeless veterans staying in transitional housing at March Air Reserve Base. The vets were offered two pairs of brand new Vans shoes, a sack lunch made by the Scouts and a bag full of toiletries. They were happy to get the items and had smiles on their faces because they saw that people care about them. This truly is the purpose of the community organizations coming together for a great cause.
