Accuracy: A Brief Guide to Precision Shooting

This is a how-to book for competitive marksmen in Olympic-style 3-position rifle events primarily, and other types of events secondarily. It’s my fourth book on this subject. This book instructs readers on how to build stable shooting positions and how to design a successful training program. It explains the principles of performance psychology as developed by the most recent brain-imaging work of sports psychologists. It details the psychological “zone” or “flow” associated with peak performance in a manner customized for shooting sports. It provides an in-depth discussion of Newtonian physics as those laws apply to precision shooting. The book is suitable for advanced beginners through elite marksmen.
